Hopi Practitioner Training Course

one day intensive course covers everything you
need to know in order for you to safely and
professionally conduct a therapy session. There
will be a short break in the morning, afternoon
and a break for lunch.

• Instruction on use of the Otoscope (ear
examination instrument)
• Ear examination
• Anatomy and Physiology of the ear
• History of ear candling
• How candle works
• Diagnosing contents of candle after treatment
• Contra indications of treatment
• Safety instructions
LUNCH
• How to
conduct practical session
• Client preparation
• The head and face massage
• Giving and receiving a hopi ear treatment
• Written test
• Questions and answers
WHAT
YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU
• A note
book (relevant material will be covered in course
booklet)
• Money or cheque book, if you wish to purchase
therapist supplies
• A packed lunch

• One pair of candles per individual for therapy
practice
